A narrow escape!

Yup.So.......That's it.Still debating to delete this since no one really reads this...Eh,what the heck.Just going to post.I probably will not delete it...Feel free to ask to help since this is my first blog and I'm still a noob at this kind to stuff(Not much of a fiction writer) This is squirrel-first person so the use of I,my,and me is used.Going to try it different things.I'm more of expirimenting on this blog.

"Today seems so calm..."I said while looking up at the trees. Everything was green and this was the nicest time to go out looking for food. I felt as if I could go scavenging all day! Another reason I was happy my children were already old enough to move out of our nest. I could now find food for myself, and not have to use up all my energy finding food for everyone in my family.I turned and spotted an acorn.I hopped over,my bushy tail brushing the ground. "It looks so good!"I squeaked happily.I shoved the acorn in my mouth and pushed it into my cheek. I turned in a circle to see if there was any signs food around. I dashed into some bushes and peeked out the other side.I noticed that there was a delicious walnut but as I was looking around I saw that it was out in the open. I wasn't sure to risk it so I decided to skirt the bushes to check for danger. As I walked around,my eyes would keep drifting toward one paticular bush but I ignored it.When I thought it was safe enough I cautiously scampered up to the walnut and grasped it in my tiny paws. In a quick moment I heard the rushed steps of a bigger animal coming in my direction. It must have noticed that I froze because I saw a figure charge from the one bush I had an uneasy feeling about.I let out a terrified shriek and dropped the walnut. I ran as fast as my paws could propel me forward. I felt larger paws press my tail down and I was jerked backwards. My paws scrabbled the ground as I tried to get free.I mustured up some energy and shot forward. My tail managed to slip out from under the cat's paws.I spotted a tree and dashed up the trunk.I heard a fustrated hiss escape from the cat.I reached a branch and clung to it. The cat disappeared and I let out an exhasperated sigh. "What was I thinking?Going out into the open like that?"I scolded to myself. "I barely cheated death!"

*SIGH* The vole from Chapter 4 of Outcast.

I don't feel like going in order plus,I have no clue what time period what Demon's post was from.Plus,I have no clue what's going to be going on with this thing so I'll just do this as a practice post....For me mainly. :P

The vole looked at the ground, scavenging for food. He continued to search and he eventually ended up under some tree roots. The vole scratched at the earth hoping to find more food for the others at his hole. For a brief moment,as he worked,he thought he was spotted but ignored the feeling. He decided it wasn't important and that his family should come first than what he assumed he felt. A moment later he heard the sound of a bigger creature shifting it's weight. The vole froze for a moment before he realized he was right,he was being hunted. He shot away, and heard his predator let out a yowl.He turned his head to look back to see a black cat land where he had just been a moment ago,the cat quickly leaped at him. He was squished by her paws that tried to hold him down but he managed to get away and slid into a crack in two rocks. He thought he had avoided a near-death until he saw a dark paw lash at him and then everything turned dark.

Little vole

My heart is racing.
What do I do?
I have 12 little ones
back in my hole!
Oh no!

The grey cat is catching up!
No!

"Congrats you caught your first prey!" said Sandstorm.

"Thanks!" said the apprentice.

"SQUEAK!" squeaked the baby voles.

"Mama!" said the littlest one.

"Hungy!" said on of the others.

To be continued.

The main idea.

Okay,so many Warriors kill prey for food. However, have any of you considered what it would be like to be the prey?Constantly having to run for your life? Thanks to Demon for convincing me to make a blog, and helping come up with the blog. Here is the place to view the world as prey instead of your Warrior cats. I know this may not be so appealing but I thought it would be fun to try things in a different way, have fun!
